dc.description	Regulatory Body shall be established and maintained which shall be effectively independent of organizations or bodies charged with the promotion of nuclear technologies or responsible for facilities or activities so that regulatory judgements can be made and enforcement actions taken without pressure from interests that may conflict with safety. It set out objectives for protecting individuals, society and the environment from radiation hazards, both for the present and in the future and specify facilities, activities and materials that are included in the scope of the legislation and what is excluded from the requirements of any particular part of the legislation.	en_US
