This presentation explain in details the different types of nuclear and radiological emergencies, also explain International Nuclear and Radiological Event Scale – ( INES) as a non-emergency public communications tool and Communicate safety to the public in emergencies involving small radioactive sources and in a large scale emergency. The participants should be familiar with the types of nuclear and radiological emergencies which could lead to health consequences, understand the use of INES in public communications, and also the basics of communicating safety in emergencies involving small radioactive sources and in a large scale emergency.en_US
