dc.description.abstractRadioactive materials (RAMs) need to undergo proper inspection especially during the movement from one destination to the other. Inspection can be define according to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Safety Glossary (2018 Edition) as an examination, observation, surveillance, measurement or test undertaken to assess structures, systems and components and materials, as well as operational activities, technical processes, organizational processes, procedures and personnel competence. Nigeria Nuclear Regulatory Authority (NNRA) plays key role in the inspection of transport of Radioactive Materials in Nigeria by inspecting, authorizing and licensing of (RAMs). So as to reduce the exposure of radiation and safeguard human and its environment.en_US
