dc.description | The criticality assessment is the first component of the resiliency and durability project’s analysis. Using the criticality assessment, critical transportation assets are identified for use in the VAST analysis. The presenter looked at criticality assessment process that will require a decomposition of the mission functions and its essential components to identify the specific products, materials, and/or services to be acquired, the environment in which the acquisition items will be used, and the proposed vendors. He explained one of the difficult tasks of a criticality safety specialist and criticality safety as one of the disciplines used to ensure the safety of nuclear facilities and processes. | en_US |
