Title: Introduction to Reactor Physics
Authors: Julius, Amanyi
Keywords: Nuclear fission
Nuclear reactor
Atom
Issue Date: 2021
Publisher: NNRA Library
Description: Nuclear reactor physics is the field of physics that studies and deals with engineering applications of chain reaction to induce a controlled rate of fission in a nuclear reactor for the production of energy. How reactor consists of an assembly of nuclear fuel and how nuclear fission was first achieved was also discussed, The physics of nuclear fission has several quirks that affect the design and behavior of nuclear reactors. Neutron Interaction, Cross Section, and Neutron Multiplication in a Nuclear Reactor were also discussed in this presentation.
